Landscape Maintenance Worker
Basic lawn maintenance, mowing, edging, blowing, cleanup, hedge trimming support, mulching, and general property care.

Landscape Driver
Drives truck and trailer, helps load equipment, assists crew, responsible for safe transport of crew and equipment.

Landscape Technician
More experienced than a general laborer. Handles detail work, plant care, trimming, cleanup, minor repairs, and property appearance standards.

Fine Gardening Technician
Important for luxury Palm Beach properties. Handles detail pruning, flower beds, pots, seasonal color, delicate plant care, grooming, and high-end property appearance.

Landscape Installation Laborer
Works on planting projects, sod, mulch, soil, rock, drainage prep, demo, and landscape renovations.

Hardscape Laborer
Assists with pavers, walkways, patios, retaining walls, stonework, edging, and outdoor construction.

Crew Leadership

Crew Leader / Foreman
Runs a maintenance or installation crew, manages daily route, checks quality, communicates with office, tracks materials, and ensures jobs are completed correctly.

Maintenance Crew Leader
Leads recurring maintenance routes for residential, HOA, condo, and commercial clients.

Installation Crew Leader
Leads planting, renovation, sod, mulch, irrigation prep, and landscape construction jobs.

Enhancement Crew Leader
Handles smaller upgrade jobs for existing customers: mulch, seasonal flowers, plant replacements, cleanup, small redesigns, and curb appeal improvements.

Specialized Technical Roles

Irrigation Technician
Inspects, repairs, adjusts, and installs irrigation systems. Very valuable in South Florida because irrigation problems quickly become plant health problems.

Irrigation Manager
Oversees irrigation technicians, estimates irrigation repairs, schedules inspections, manages water-use issues, and coordinates with maintenance teams.

Plant Health Care Technician
Handles fertilization, pest control, disease monitoring, spraying, soil health, palms, shrubs, and turf care. This may require licensing depending on the chemicals and services offered.

Palm Tree Trimmer / Tree Climber
Specialized tree and palm trimming. Larger companies may have in-house climbers, bucket truck operators, or tree crews.

Arborist
Certified tree specialist who evaluates tree health, pruning strategy, risk, disease, and long-term care. Useful for estates, HOAs, and commercial properties.

Pest Control / Fertilization Technician
Handles lawn and ornamental treatment programs. Usually requires proper licensing and compliance.

Landscape Lighting Technician
Installs and repairs low-voltage lighting systems, transformers, fixtures, timers, and wiring.

Drainage Technician
Works on French drains, catch basins, grading corrections, downspout drainage, and wet-area solutions.

Sales, Design, and Client-Facing Roles

Account Manager
Manages client relationships after sale. Walks properties, communicates with clients/property managers, sells enhancements, handles complaints, and protects renewals.

Business Development Representative
Finds new commercial, HOA, condo, estate, realtor, builder, and property manager accounts.

Estimator
Prices maintenance contracts, planting jobs, enhancements, irrigation repairs, mulch, trimming, and renovation work.

Landscape Designer
Creates planting plans, design concepts, plant selections, layouts, and visual presentations.

Design-Build Sales Consultant
Sells larger renovation and installation projects, works with designers, prepares proposals, and manages client expectations.

Client Service Coordinator
Handles customer calls, scheduling questions, service requests, reminders, and follow-up.

Operations and Management

Operations Manager
Oversees crews, routes, equipment, scheduling, quality control, production, hiring, and daily field operations.

Production Manager
Makes sure work is completed efficiently and profitably. Tracks labor hours, job costs, crew productivity, and quality.

Maintenance Manager
Manages all recurring maintenance routes and crew leaders.

Installation Manager
Manages landscape installation projects, materials, crews, scheduling, and subcontractors.

Enhancement Manager
Runs small-to-medium add-on jobs for current customers. This is a strong profit center for landscape companies.

Fleet / Equipment Manager
Maintains trucks, trailers, mowers, trimmers, blowers, batteries, repairs, fuel, safety, and equipment inventory.

Quality Control Manager
Inspects properties after service, identifies missed items, trains crews, and protects high-end service standards.

Office / Administrative Roles

Office Manager
Handles general administration, customer communication, documents, scheduling support, invoices, and vendor coordination.

Scheduler / Dispatcher
Creates daily routes, assigns crews, adjusts for weather, tracks job completion, and coordinates urgent requests.

Bookkeeper / Billing Specialist
Handles invoicing, payments, payroll support, vendor bills, collections, and financial records.

HR / Recruiting Coordinator
Posts jobs, screens applicants, schedules interviews, handles onboarding, paperwork, and employee records.

Purchasing / Materials Coordinator
